Obituary for Margie A. Schaubert

Margie A. Schaubert, 60, of Goreville, formerly of Herrin, passed away 6:27 a.m. Monday, January 29, 2018 at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Marion, IL.

Margie retired from Diagraph in Marion after 20 years as a Production Co-ordinator and Materials Manager.

She was a member of Bryan Street Baptist Church in Herrin.

Margie was born December 18, 1957 in ¬¬¬Carbondale, IL to Lloyd Allen and Reba Marie (Cheatham) Johns.

Margie was united in marriage with Charles L. Schaubert on July 26, 1986 in Paducah, KY.

Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Charles L. Schaubert of Goreville; son, Lance Schaubert of Marion; daughter, Nicki (Dave) Schaubert-Gerardi of Goreville; step-daughter, Heather (Chad) Ramsey of Powhatan, VA; five grandchildren, Karma, Kamrunn, Peyton, Dawson and Griffin; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia “Patty” and Gary Childers of Herrin; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Joni Hosman of Metropolis, Parvin “Junior” and Karen Hosmon of Herrin; sister-in-law, Paula Upshaw of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 at Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018. Interment will be in Herrin City Cemetery in Herrin. Memorial Donations are suggested and may be made to the family.
