Patricia A. Jennings, 59, of Herrin, died 8:05 a.m. Sunday, August 2, 2009 at her residence.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. Interment will be in San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home in Herrin. Memorial donations may be made to OLMC / St. Mary's Education Foundation; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jennings has worked as a Quality Auditor for WPS in Marion for the last 18 years.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. She formerly sold Avon Products and loved to shop with her granddaughters.
She was born January 20, 1950 in Herrin, IL to William Leon and Frances Marie (Miriani) Hopper.
Pat was united in marriage with Robert W. Jennings on October 5, 1968 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin.
Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Bob Jennings of Herrin; son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Lori Jennings of Marion; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Robert Bloodworth of Herrin; eight grandchildren, Hannah and Leah Jennings of Marion, Karyn, Wesley, Matthew, Sophie, Nathan and Ashlynn Bloodworth, all of Herrin; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Peg Ragsdale of Johnston City; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Ron Miller of Kansas City, MO and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
