Ellen C. Brands, 79, of Herrin, IL, passed away 11:53 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, IL.
Interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 7, 2009 at Herrin City Cemetery in Herrin, IL.
Mrs. Brands was a homemaker and formerly worked as a School Teacher.
She was born December 20, 1929 in St. Louis, MO to John L. and Rosemary Campion.
She was married to Dean A. Brands. He preceded her in death in 1971.
Surviving are, 3 sons and a daughter-in-law, Dean Brands of Ina, IL, Paul Brands of Millbrook, NY, Michael and Evelyn Brands of Woodstock, VT; a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Ray Brands of Prosperity, SC; 6 grandchildren and a brother, Christopher Brands of Herrin, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother, John Leo Campion.
