Patsy L. Engram, 77, of Herrin, passed away 9:55 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Parkway Manor, surrounded by her loving family.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 at Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Richard Pearce officiating. Interment will be in Herrin City Cemetery in Herrin. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The preferred form of remembrance is memorial donations made to the Alzheimer's Association; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
We would like to especially thank Our Heavenly Father, for the blessing of having this woman for our mother. She was a quiet gentle woman, who was a true Christian and cherished her family. We'll miss you Mom, but we'll all be together again.
Mrs. Engram formerly worked for Container Stapling in Herrin for 28 years.
Patsy was a member of Southern Illinois Worship Center in Herrin and she loved to crochet, cook and read her Bible daily.
Patsy was born January 13, 1933 in Blairsville, IL to John Benjamin and Maude (Strunk) Bradshaw.
Surviving are her four children and their spouses, Brenda and Arthur French of Herrin, Terry and Darla Engram of Herrin, Sandy and Chuck Rudolph of Mackinaw, IL, Barbara and Jack Brian of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren, Michelle (Bill) Tauber of Herrin, Matthew (Jennifer) Rudolph of Tulsa, OK, Travis (Heather) Engram of Herrin, Scott Brian of Dallas, TX, John Brian of Beaumont, TX, Hannah Smith of Herrin; five great-grandchildren, Abigail, Michala, Rachel, Briley and Gracie; one sister, Peggy Wade of Herrin and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Katherine M. Glisson and Corrine Jones.
