Obituary for William Robert "Bill" Endsley

William R. “Bill” Endsley, 79, of Herrin, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away 10:55 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Baptist Health Paducah, Paducah, KY.

Bill retired in January 1994 after 30 years working as a Sales Representative for Proctor and Gamble.

Bill was of the Southern Baptist faith and a veteran of the U. S. Army.

Bill was born December 15, 1939 in Harrisburg, IL to William and Velma J. (Pyle) Endsley.

Bill was united in marriage with Jane Ruth Bond on June 6, 1964 in Harrisburg, IL. She preceded her in death on May 17, 2014.

Surviving are two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Joel B. Bond (who Bill raised as a son since the age of 7) and Pamela Bond of Harrisburg, John Billman of O’Fallon, MO and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Phyllis and Allen King and Carolyn Billman.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated and will be interred with his wife, Jane at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg at a later date.
